Hi, I’m Nick, the founder of Colorcast Coatings. I started this company to bring together everything I’ve learned over the past 20+ years working in engineering, construction, and business management.

I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and began my career in structural steel design, where I gained a strong foundation in structural systems. From there, I spent eight years as a Senior Field Engineer for a global construction tool company that specialized in diamond concrete saws, core rigs, concrete anchoring, and chemicals. I worked closely with contractors, engineers and architects across the U.S., helping solve real-world problems on job sites and ensuring projects stayed on track. The highlight of my field career was working on site at Los Alamos Labs and at the Hanford Site.

After that, I moved into business and sales management, spending seven years leading sales engineering teams and growing operations for large publicly traded companies. This gave me a broader perspective on customer relationships, operations, and what it takes to build and lead a successful team.
